I look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow night, Tuesday, at Open House. The PTSA meeting begins at 6:30 in the cafeteria. Our meeting in the classroom will be brief but extremely informative. I will present the information through the Smartboard. You will also have the opportunity to speak with our room parents.
Parents, homework is being sent home tonight. In addition to the 15 minutes your child reads each evening, please help them "observe" the movement of the wind. They have a chart to complete and turn in by Friday.

If you have wondered how to extend your child’s learning each week, this is one possible answer.
Every Friday, your child can earn an extra “Blue” slip by bringing something in that connects with the current week’s curriculum.
Example: We may be studying “space” in science. Your child may have gone to the new space center and have an experience to share.
Additional examples might be finding something in a book or off the internet (with your supervision).
Your child will be asked to use their best presenter’s skills and then be able to answer three questions about their experience or examples.
